I think this is a pretty fair deal for both teams. MTL has to move some $$ out with Dvorak, but WPG gets a 3rd for that and a player they can plug into their middle 6. A mid first and a good young center like Dach (at a nice contract) would be a pretty good return for Dubois.

Finally a trade that is mostly fair both ways.

I think the Habs try and squeeze a 6th from the Jets, or downgrade that 3rd to a 4th('23) or 3rd ('26)

Thats not remotely close.

Dach alone is worth more on the market than dubois is

This is too much for PLD. Montreal isn't competing next year and it's Winnipeg that needs to make the deal...

At this point, I wouldn't even give the Jets Dach... they take what they can get, and at this point, it's not going to be a great offer.
