Description
Cant see klingberg signing a longterm deal after he took a one year deal and failed looking for a big pay day. See him likely trying to redo the same thing elsewhere

Bertuzz doesn’t get the offers he thought he was , yzerman brings him back to dylan’s Delight

Money works perfectly. Perron and klingberg’s money Comes off with the remaining cap goes to seider and raymond longterm signings.

Chiarot comes off when edvinsson needs to resign + Fabbri and maata’s $ gone in 2 years and a bunch of cheap contracts coming in the lineup for the foreseeable future

Wings shouldn't be giving up a first for Scheifele, and no way should he get a seven year deal. Just better ways to spend cap

I hate the Scheifele trade. No on Klingberg. He's a defensive mess. I don't mind Hathaway and Raanta.

I'd only take Bert back on a 1 or 2 year deal. He should re-sign with Boston. But if he's chasing the Brinks truck he'll be playing somewhere else.

I'd keep Kubalik. We lost too many goals at the trade deadline. Stevie can always move Kubalik at next year's deadline.

We need to keep Kubalik if that's the best return. He has a team friendly contract and Wings need goals scorers. Signing Scheifele and Hathaway to long term contracts- not a big fan.

So klingberg isn't ideal but I don't hate him on a short term deal. We need the offense from the back and he helps the pp a bunch. Everyone's going to hate it and I'm not a fan of losing Berggren either but if scheifele comes and extends at a reasonable price it's worth doing probably. He fills a gigantic need here.

Ok dear god! When the best part of your ACGM is resigning Bertuzzi after the season he has had what does that say about the rest of your ACGM?

Maybe if we throw in Raymond they'll give us Wheeler as well!

Was thinking same with klingberg for one year only. Don’t wanna loss berggren but we have a ton of kids coming up soon and some players people like will have to be gone eventually. Don’t like scheifele till 38 but if we wanted to get a top end C now he might be the best option at this point. I’d personally wait it out 2 more years and hope to convince draisaitl to come . He’d be my target. Convince seider to chat him up in the off season

Don't forget about Bobby Orr Petry. I mean he's from Michigan!

Well not much options? Teams aren’t gonna trade a 1c who’s under 25. I think mcdavid And draisaitl wont resign with the oilers in 2-3 yrs . In the meantime I’d be concentrating on the draft and making trades for younger players and hope they breakout like the sabres lucked out with thompson for example

I mean Edmonton has 107 pts they aren't exactly having a horrible time of it out there.

They haven’t won squat yet . And they live in Edmonton .... go look at videos , not exactly the most exciting place to live lol I’d be shocked if they return especially if they get no playoff success. Same with matthews if they get eliminated in round 1 again
