Let's be realistic NO ONE is giving a 33yr old $10M. But offering Killorn $2.5M would be pretty disrespectful and I'd imagine he would no longer want anything to do with TB. In the last 4 seasons he only missed scoring 25+ goals in the COVID shortened season. So I do think he gets more than he made this season but how much term he gets will play a big factor.

By the way would you rather live in a really nice area in Tampa where the average day time temp in January is in the upper 60 to low 70's or a really nice area of Detroit. Where you have to shovel your driveway to go somewhere. Like it or not if you work in a heavy crime area "downtown Detroit" it can still come to you. Ask Mitch Marner about getting car jacked in a really nice area of Toronto. Tampa has a very low violent crime rate.

I agree $6M x 3 os about right and I think he stays in TB if they are one of the teams offering it.

We're not going to have that money to offer unless the cap gets a decent bump from the players and owners agreeing to smoothing out the expected cap jump after next season. But I'm not counting on it.

TB's entire top 6 is players that were drafted by TB along with Hedman and Vasilevskiy. It would be hard to start over with a new team epically at 33.
