Would you move Mangiapane + either Vladar/Kylington/Zadorov for Guentzel!?

If so, does CGY add or would it need to be more like Mangiapane + Dube!?

Finally, if it’s Zadorov that goes, do we add to have Pierre-Olivier Joseph included as a replacement player if Kylington is still a ?

Sharks are rebuilding. We will take on players but you have to pay for us to take them otherwise giving up picks for 30 something rentals just seems silly.

Sharks are rebuilding. Not moving picks for veterans. Dump him somewhere else.

You forgot to trade Crosby for a 6th round pick, Malkin for Radek Faksa, and Letang for an 8th round pick. If we are just giving away players for garbage, might as well go all the way.

Whether I would or not doesn't matter because Pittsburgh wouldnt. The main issue with making a trade like that is Jake is another expiring UFA the next summer

Same as Mangiapane’s but yeah, I don’t really see why PIT would want to Trade Guentzel and he has a M-NTC as well

Mangiapane has more term than Guentzel so no they aren't the same in that category.

Pittsburgh missing the playoffs this year probably means they are starting to age out. Guentzel being 29 and a proven 40 goal scorer on the final year of his contract means he is probably their highest trade chip to start recuperating assets for an eventual rebuild. He's also less likely to re-sign with a team that is starting to head towards rebuilding

That’s the point of getting the guys I traded for those guys on the ice go out 110% all the time. There’s no quit in them. Guentzel was mainly for a 1st, Rust plays about 75% of the time. Wood goes hard every game an he will stand up for your team. Domi same thing and playing with Crosby or Malkin willing to fight an he will score. Roslovic is aggressive an will provide the 3rd line with intensity. Both Ritchie’s bring heart and toughness and proven they can score. Graves provides the back end toughness along with Brown. Dumba can score an hit an also move the puck a skate. Vejmelka is gonna be a winning goalie may even be better than Jarry. So who’s garbage?

Rust definitely gives his all 110% of the time lol. And all those players you brought in are 4th liners. You’re trading guys that do more giving 50% effort for guys that do less giving 110% effort. That’s silly. Not to mention wildly overpaying them. I mean those contracts are worse than Hextall’s lol

So you think Rust gives it his all. 20 goals this year after getting a huge contract. He doesn’t score those goals with the help of Crosby and Malkin. He is a 3rd liner at best. He hardly ever hits and I’ve seen the guy skate fast and he just doesn’t like 75% of the time. We need more aggressive players that play hockey and not the way that they don’t want to hit or be hit.
