I don't think Girard makes sense for the 'yotes and I don't think they'd make that trade. The Avs would have to consider it though.

That’s why the deal didn’t go through…the VAN asking price was too high. This is what I’d imagine a legitimate asking price another team would bite on would be. VAN still gets future assets, gets a top 6 player that could play well in their team or get immediately flipped for more future assets, and also get out of a 8Mx7 extension for a player they shouldn’t have signed to it.
