Honestly not enough for the Hawks to accept. KD's been pretty consistent that a 2nd is required for cap dumps. Zaitsev, Dickinson.

Actually, I think it costs a 1st based on what the Habs got for taking Monahan. Both are/were good players with injury concerns and similar cap hits.

Agree not enough. 6.5 million salary and 5.7 in cap will need to be a 2nd, even if it is the worst one of the 3 in '25

How do you intend on paying Wilson and Sandin next year with those abysmal Domi and Barbashev contracts?

Also, I think Uncle Ted would genuinely murder MacLellan before he would allow him to buy out Backstrom.
