Good mock. I'll be surprised if Michkov drops that much. Expect Cristall and Perreault to go a bit higher after the seasons they've had though.

Danielson and Musty are tad high to my taste.

That's fair. Honestly I'm already considering putting Perreault higher he's been really impressive to me at the U18's.

For Cristall it's more of I think GM's will question how well he will translate, but me personally I think he'll be fine. I just see him falling because of foot speed and work ethic concerns.

For Michkov, I have no idea how far he falls but with reports of Russian players possibly never making it over, and worries of players being enlisted in the Military once their KHL contract end I can't see GM's risking picking him higher in the first. All I say is I think he falls out of the top 10, after that we'll see.

Well I suppose there's few teams in there that can afford to take the risk, teams that have huge prospect pools already. Buffalo is first that comes to mind, they could afford to take him if he's still available.

I think Washington is prime Michkov destination, Washington loves their Russians and Ovi is friends with Putin.

Also I would rather Montreal picks Yager ( he’s also been linked to Montreal though take that with a grain of salt ), Sale or Michkov at 17

My heart will not let that happen. Michkov can play for 29 other teams just not the Pens/Bruins/Caps.

Also Fair. I'm not actually high on Dragicevic, he's a very risky pick imo, just kinda a gut feel kinda thing. Probably wrong

I doubt ARI or MTL would pass on Michkov with their second 1st round pick.

If MTL picked Dvorsky at 6 and Michkov is gone before 17, they'd probably pick Yager or just go full Slovakia and pick Honzek.

Likely a team with a decent prospect pool and multiple first rounders could pull the trigger workout gambling too much. Arizona, Montreal or Columbus would be prime destinations and in the realm of possibilities considering where they pick, not teams linked to have any interests in Russian players but certainly logical picks.

I would be ecstatic if Michkov slipped to the Wild. If we can't help our current Kaprizov, might as well draft the next one squinty smile . Plus, this one will be 2 years younger when he comes over. Also, if Yager falls that far, I'd trade the rest of my draft and (almost) any prospect to grab that extra pick. Walking away with Yager and Michkov would be a dream come true.

Yea I really like Yager, I think he ends up being a major steal and that he has one of the higher ceilings of the First Round. I could see him going in the mid teens just depends on how GM's view him after a good but not earth shattering year.
