Canucks aren’t doing that to dump Myers. After his bonus is paid they can likely dump him for a mid round pick

Canucks aren’t downgrading picks to dump Myers. Pay a 3rd and get it over with. This is horrendous

As much as I like that deal for CHI, I really struggle to see any reality in which VAN would be willing to give up that high pick in this draft.

ARI could be a landing spot for a 3rd once his bonus is paid.

That Chicago trade is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen, why the hell would the Canucks drop potentially 20 picks to save a little bit of money? Do you realize the idiocy of that move?

If VAN wants Myers cap hit gone AND doesn't want to pay his bonus, I don't think 9 spots is a bad price to move the Myers contract. Especially, if VAN is targeting someone that they absolutely need the space for at the opening of free agency and are penny pinching for whatever reason. But, I still think CHI might have to find a way to sweeten the deal a bit. But if Tampa makes it to the conference final or beyond, CHI would have to sweeten the deal a hell of a lot more.
