All things considered, which team do you think will have better future?

Even with lottery, Arizona. Much better depth of prospects, Cooley looks like a beast and they'll still have a top pick this year to bolster even more. All they're lacking is a great future goaltender, imo.

Doesn't matter. They pretty much alternate periods of being horrendous and being beasts now. The lottery only pushes the schedule up a little. Bedard alone won;t get it done.

Overall ARZ, They have much better roots.

Chicago has a lot of work to do even with Bedard.

Arizona has a better prospect pool and team, but Chicago is much more certain to have a team of any kind in 3-5 years.

As a franchise, I'm not sure if Arizona has a future at all. Chicago does though.
