Sign Bunting and be shorthanded most of the game. Refs just love his diving act. Can't wait to see how he costs the Leafs game 6.

I feel like someone will get him for a bargain in the offseason. His 23 goals this yea would have been 3rd on the Wings, so regardless of his antics, he knows how to produce offensively. The Wings clearly don't score enough, so adding Bunting would help. He'll learn to settle down on the ice with experience.

Let's see how he does without riding Matthews and Marner's coat tails. Whenever he hasn't played with at least one of them he's done nothing.

I'm not a blackwood guy but I'll take the rest. I know people are down on bunting but if he'd sign that deal you do it.

He scored 10 goals in 21 games on a bad Coyotes team in 2021.

Why did it take him until he was 25 to make it to the NHL? If he's so good why didn't Arizona re-sign him sooner? Scoring 10 goals in garbage time. Impressive.

1) late bloomer I guess?

2) Arizona has been tanking for a while now

3) I'm not saying Michael Bunting is the second coming of Sid ******* Crosby, I'm just saying he'd help our anemic offense, so I'd gamble on his antics if it came at this cost. We are soft, and in my opinion, we don't play with enough passion, and look nonchalant far too often. Love him or hate him (which is obvious, you hate him) Bunting at least plays with passion.

He had 4 goals this season that didn't involve any of Toronto's big 4 and 7 of his 23 goals came on the power play.

Bunting plays stupid. He hurts his team more than he helps it because he's a selfish player. He's a sideshow. Trying to scare opponents with his eyebrows and never fighting makes him a chicken **** weasel. Hiding behind the refs in scrums while mouthing off.

The refs are onto his diving act which he got away with all last season. Look at the cheap shot on Cernak. Cernak is certainly no angel himself so karma got him.

Bunting doesn't play tough Hockey at all. He's a gutless piece of ****. Red Wings certainly need to get tougher. That requires tough players. Bunting doesn't fit the job description. He scares no one because he's built like a scarecrow.

He's a target with the refs and it's not changing. We're not good enough to kill the penalties he'll incur.

Isn't it a good thing that he can score on the PP? Our PP has been awful for a decade lol. Since Datsyuk left, our PP has been bad, so isn't the fact that he produces on the PP a good thing?

moronics statements. there is so many players who started to play well later in their career, st-louis, girodano, hoffman, you can find so many without trying hard. he didnt want to resign with arizona... so they couldnt sign him...
and he did well in his short time with arizona, what more do you want, you wanted him to score 50 goals in a 20 games?

I didn't realize Michael Bunting has affected you in such a personal way. Not sure why you have such feelings towards him, but I guess we can stop this discussion here...I didn't mean to hit such a nerve and anger you this much over a meaningless ACGM team lol.

Cam Neely. Oh wait. He didn't run away from fights or hide behind the refs while scaring opponents with his eyebrows.

Personally I wouldn't sign Bunting but I understand why you did it. I think the player drafted with our pick will likely take that spot sooner rather than later. I wouldn't mind seeing Zadina get some time higher in the line up.
I would stay away from Watson but again I know why you did it. We are too easy to play against and need some toughness. I would try to find someone that can contribute more to the team other than just being a goon.
I wouldn't do the Blackwood trade, he's not that great although he does have potential. I doubt he gets qualified and he could probably be signed for free if you are wanting him. He seems to have issues staying healthy.
I personally wouldn't do the Debrincat trade but I don't hate it. I just hate trading first round picks. The value is fine though and I think Ottawa would be happy with that return.
I bet Severson gets more on the market, I wouldn't want to give him more than what you have there either. Would rather try and find someone younger to eventually fill that spot or else draft a couple. I like Bonk and Willander in this draft.
You did address alot of the needs of the team and it looks decent.
I don't know how I would feel about Debrincat and Raymond on the same line, probably get pushed around alot. Part of the reason I wouldn't trade for Debrincat, we have a few too many pure skill guys that don't play with much of an edge right now.

Pass on Bunting. Certainly isn't a good character when he acts like a teenager to Keefe.
