Caps don't want Mantha gone, Laviolette wanted Mantha gone, and now Lavi is gone. If Caps can't get something good for Mantha they'll just keep him to see if new coach uses him properly. Wheeler doesn't help Caps at all.

Detroit gladly accepts, Pionk for 2 more years at nearly $6,000,000 is a solid offer. Even though there are rumors that Yzerman might go after Tyson Barrie to fill Hroneks role as 2nd line RD.

don't doubt caps were in on him at the deadline but after getting sandin, resigning alexeyev, and signing that ld from the shl they have no more space for stanley. As for the Mantha/Wheeler swap, jets would have to retain pretty significantly to make it work

I've seen four rumor sites, Saying that it's a very real possibility. Saying that Detroit is a front runner for him.
