Killorn leads this years crop of UFA's in points, you are way off on that contract.

Having the chance of playing with his childhood team and playing with one of his biggest mentor is something that you considerate for signing a cheaper contract that your real value.

Love both for Habs. I think Killorn around 4.5M-5M is my guess on a 2 yr deal but love the thought process !

Still, he won't leave 2x1.5m on the table just because he likes the coach. You can like more than one coach.

Also Perry wants to play for a contender. MTL isn't.

'' I still have a lot to offer for an NHL team, I'm still capable and I want to continue playing and helping young players. We will see what will happen over the next few weeks and then make a decision. ''

That's from Perry in his end-season briefing.

with the tax difference just signing in MTL is a pay cut. realistically after a career year in goals and assists I assume its a 3 year 5-6 mil contract.

Me looking at the list of Quebec born players that have signed the imaginary "Hometown discount!!!" contract that everyone talks about all the time...

I think Killorn would definitely entertain the idea of playing MTL, but if I had to guess I would say you're ~$2.5M / year short on AAV and 1 year short on term of what he could potentially get.

That's way off.
