Because Ben Chiarot, Olli Maatta, and Jake Walman are not first pairing LHDs, and Edvinsson is still a year or two away.

Wallman fit well with Seider and I highly doubt Krug is a fit with Seider. Plus I would rather ha e a fast skating younger Wallman whonis half the price of Krug and is younger also.

Again one has to look at cap and how much you spend for older players. Wings are desperately in need of a 2nd line RHD much more than getting Krug.

DET C, drafted 4th round in 2018. Will most likely never make the NHL. Plays for ASU......not the Yotes version LOL

Literally no reason for the Red Wings to do this. Too many LHD as it is without Krug.

NYR wouldn't trade Miller for everything St Louis is giving up. Two late 2nds and two late 1sts. Let alone trade Laffy in that as well
