The Soucy and Miller contracts look very low. Doubt Montreal would move all that for Lafreniere.

Miller is going to get a deal similar to Ryan Lindgren - start point at a minimum is 3yr @ 3mil
Othmann will need to have an impressive camp to make the team. Honestly would probably be better for him to get 1 year of AHL under his belt. Cuylie makes the team.
Can't see this trade happening - looks like Rangers are getting Dube, Kidney, and Farrell for LAF and a 2nd rd pick - no way CAL or MON does this.
NYR will look to trade Goodrow in a salary dump deal. Like the player but the cost is prohibitive. They can use that 3.6mil to sign players who can perform same type of role with similar stats at better price points

Montreal simply doesn't need wingers unless they are unquestionably better than what we have currently or coming up.
I believe Lafreniere will produce better if given more experience and opportunity, eventually, but we have to determine if that is true among our own "free" prospects before we start spending assets to acquire others.
If the price is similar to what we let KK go for (late 1st and a 2nd), there's some potential to "buy low". If we're expecting to pay for what he "might" become however, that's an easy no.
