I like Arviddson and that's fair value but wrong team. Only need top 6 help if we can't resign zucker and if we don't that's something we'll probably address in FA. Top 6 isn't a big enough need to lose 2 draft picks we need to start preserving.

We shouldn't be giving Durzi and Walker away. RhDs have some intrinsic value, especially proven NHL-quality RhDs.

I don't want to say yes to Walker as the Hawks have 3 well established/expensive RHD and have Regula needing NHL games this season, But I have to say yes and then try to solve the problem of to many RHD as the value is to good to pass.

I don't know what their trade value would be. But regardless those two probably have to get moved to make cap space.

I don't like the contract either. But usually UFA's get overpaid. The King's advantage over other teams is that they can offer 8, when other teams can only offer 7.

Walker, yes. Durzi's cap hit, on the other hand, is low enough to have negligible effect on any moves we might want to make. The issue is whether, and if, we can move a bigger ticket, like Petersen (probably untradeable except at a loss), Arvidsson (low value because he's a rental), or Iafallo.

Could easily play on Malkin's RW even if you bring zucker back. Arviddson would be such a great add to the penguins, kills penalty, brings a lot of grit. I would love to have him

I'd love to have him too just don't know if we'd still be able to address some of our more glaring needs while not losing the picks. Let me run one with him and see what that would look like. Nothing against arviddson he's a great player and help on special teams would be great.
