Caps pass. Only way they trade Wilson is if the offer is astronomical.

This is reasonable trade for 29 yrs old winger with expiring contract. Caps can work from it, or decline, but it's offer worth considering.
Your counter is.., well make a thread about and you will see.

I like Gavrikov signing, if Power is capable to move to RD

UPL is better, cheaper and has more upside than Jones. That's a big NO GO.

    A 28-goal scorer is worth more than a 2nd.

Bryson is worth more than "future considerations". I'd rather him play in ROC than move him for nothing.

I'd rather keep the 1st the Rosen. Wilson doesn't fit the timeline.

What else would he return? Seems like an offer that might even be too much.

Agreed, I went high anticipating this response. Everyone always wants more than they'll actually get. I remember 12 months of Eichel proposals like that.

I'm not technically saying Wilson is worth more in terms of value but the truth is he'd get a lot more for 2 reasons: 1) Caps love him and they aren't moving him without some crazy return and 2) If Wilson was ever going to be traded 20 teams would be putting bids in, so a huge bidding war would happen. Add those 2 things together and Wilson's return would be psycho big. Take Tanner Jeannot's trade and double it, at least. Again, not saying Wilson is worth that much, he isn't, but the return would be massive.

It's not reasonable. Wilson is retiring in DC.

A lot more than 2 1sts and a 3rd? Who gets that? Especially a 29yr old player with 1 year remaining on his contract. I'll wait. Dude played 33 games last year. Even if he managed to play 75+ games, 29 year old players don't net 2 1sts and a 3rd. If you can point me to examples of players that do.. He's an old, banged up rental.

    Jeannot got a ridiculous return: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th + Foote. No way WIlson goes for 2 1sts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 4th, 2 5ths, + 2 young RFA D-man. I mean, no one ever fetched that amount in NHL history, so you're kinda off your rocker. (And you said, at least!!! )) Wow.

TBL overpaid. BUT, Jeanout is younger, cheaper and cost-controlled.

No one is paying double for Wilson, let alone the same package. WAS may never move on from Wilson, but that is to their own demise. Getting 2 young 1st round picks is a big return.

Again, Wilson is a unicorn. Don't think of him as every day 29yo. He's special. Everyone knows it. His return would be massive.

Most 29 year olds play more than 33 games. Some unicorn.

    2 1sts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds, 2 4ths, 2 5ths, and 2 RFA D-men + more? You're insane.

lol so het gets hurt once he's garbage? lol Teams would be lining up. Maybe not all of that but it would be something like 2 1sts+top prospect+something else good most likely. Assuming the team he goes to has an extension in place.
