So much is wrong with that Quinn Hughes trade. 1) Quality >>>>> Quantity. 2) No shot your get him retained. and 3) Like I've said hundreds of times, they ARE NOT trading Hughes unless the package is unreal, and for NJ that starts with Nemec or Bratt

here's an idea. if you want one of the top 2 players in VAN, offer one of your top 2 players.
so if you're not going to offer a top 2 player from your roster.... don't even bother calling

Ahh yeah. Bottom-6 winger and a struggling goaltender for a former 1st round pick from not even a year ago. Exactly the type of move every rebuilding should be looking for.

Devils+Nucks decline, Habs decline, Devils decline.

The Wood contract is physically painful

The Quinn offer is a wee bit nuts. Devils don’t go anywhere near that, especially with Siegenthaler included.

The package, if it includes Siegenthaler, is unreal. But Quinn-to-NJD is not something either side wants, so it’s all moot anyway.

If you genuinely think that Siegenthaler is good enough to be the best pice in a trade for Quinn Hughes idk what to tell you. Siegenthaler may be a fine player but he doesn't come close to Hughes, there is a big difference between showing results against teams top lines playing 25 minutes a game and showing results in a depth role playing less than 20 a night. That offer is way too much quantity over quality, therefore its pretty trash for the Cnaucks. Plus Hughes isn't being traded so it doesn't matter regardless

Siegenthaler is our top-pair LD…and probably a top-5 defensive dman in the NHL. His value is probably pretty close to Quinn’s.

HAHA, omg and people say Canucks fans are delusional. Siegenthaler has nowhere close to Quinn's value. I cant even believe this is an actual argument, this must be a troll
