I feel like this is peak level trolling, but it was done so well, I can't be mad, only impressed.

Take out Rasmus Kupari and substitute Morgan Rielly for Mitch Marner and we'll talk.

You forgot Minnesota doesn't consider this, and so doesn't other teams

Yeah I’m just gonna assume this is a troll post cause that deal with the Flyers is ridiculous lol the Flyers win that trade so easily it’s not even funny and you want grit but Provy hasn’t played physical in 3 years

Sharks accept. Gives Cicek (a hard-hitting defensive dman prospect who got some games in with the Sharks and didn't look out of place at all) a chance somewhere else with SJ having an absolute logjam at the LD spot.

Minnesota can’t be average forever. Move it up a notch.

Lol Minnesota isn't trading boldy or any of that for a rental. NO!

They’re just always such an average, mid, bland team that will seemingly never do anything special.

It’s a fact. Always average. Only one solid run way back when they had Gaborik. Never had a star calibre centre or truly elite defenseman and a Rossi or Khusnutdinov won’t be that. Not bad, not great hockey. It’s not an insult, Guerin does good things just won’t make the big move.

Is Reilly really that much better of a player than Krug?

Both are pretty offensively tilted. Krug has played in a lot heavier defensive systems, but really only holds as a 3rd pair guy 5v5. Not sure if you move Reilly into a system like the Blues/Bruins it’s not the same where you’re trying to fit a square peg in a round hole

Krug has played a full season a whopping 1 time in his career while Reilly has 5-6 full seasons but has missed significantly less time for injuries. It’s no secret Krug is a consistent injury scratch in his career. Don’t know why that responded x3

Agree with that, not sure if it’s worth the extra million AAV along with the extended term on a guy that’s extremely similar to what we have (production wise) that is a big issue for us currently. Not a big issue because he’s a bad player. Big issue because we have a glaring hole that we’d be better off spending the cap on.

I think MN has to decline from a standpoint of Matthews would walk after next season since we are still cap strapped. I also don't think you get two first rounders, probably one as Marat may be a valid 1C in the future
