On behalf of every blackhawks fan on cap friendly, I'd like to thank you for not making that murray trade with the hawks

Also the hawks accept that marner trade. They'll even throw in a 3rd if Toronto can retain a mil of marners contract

Well... CHI doesn't need any retention. So I doubt they'd be willing to pay extra for it. CHI shouldn't be willing to go out and acquire players via trade, either. But, you're right, that is a very good deal. They could probably flip Marner immediately and make a profit. Which leads me to my next point. TOR could get more for Marner.
