LAK would be better off resigning Korpisalo then going through hoops for this trade, no?

Wouldnt Reilly be like their best LHD? Maybe Boston ads a low pick but they could also just buy him out for very cheap.

Your trolling or what? You could argue Hathaway is the un realistic as he probably could get some more $

Is it because you feel like your not i need of Ullmark or because you value Turcotte? Feel like LA have some other centers they go with before Turcotte.

No. He wouldn't be. Probably best BOS buys him out. To CHI he is a pure cap dump that just takes up space.

Neither. I just don't think goalies carry very much trade value because their success is too dependent on the team playing in front of them. I'd be willing to pay a 2nd round pick for Ullmark. I think Turcotte currently carries value around a 2nd round pick.

Turcotte has been moved to LW, so the center argument doesn't really apply here. However, I think he is still one of the highest valued assets in the Kings system, he just can't seem to stay healthy. The Kings are keen to give him every opportunity to show what he can do until his waiver exemption expires next summer.

I wasn't really impressed with Korpisalo, so I'm not ready to give him a payday. He was fine, but he wasn't any better than Copley.

If Korpisalo is willing to sign a 1-2 year "show me" contract around $2.5M, then I'm all for it. But if he wants a long term, $4M+ deal, then I'd rather just let him walk. If Cal Petersen has taught us anything, it's that you shouldn't give a starting goaltender contract to a goalie that has never been a starting goaltender in the NHL.

Understandable. The Ullmark value I think varies alot from the fans. He will probably be the Vezina holder but at the same time hes been benched for two game sevens in a row.

Love the LAK trade, might have to take some cap back to help LAKs cap situation and make the deal work, Walker?
