To see a Leafs AGM with a Marner trade and a Blues logo on the side that I already know ahead of time is not a Marner to STL trade... sir, I could almost kiss you right now.

Also, the Isles firmly pass on that in a heartbeat. No chance.

So the Isles are going to trade two cornerstone pieces of their franchise, one who's under team control for at least 4 seasons and the other signed for 8, in return for two seasons of Mitch Marner and a couple of spear carriers?

I don't think so.

I like how they also wanted a 7th round pick in addition to the two Marner caliber players in the deal
