Hilarious!

The idea that we would trade all of Adam Fantilli's career and most of Troy Terry's career for two seasons of Mitch Marner is an even funnier joke than the attempted cap dump I saw today of Matt Murray and a 2024 fifth for a 2024 seventh which, up to now, was absolutely the worst trade I've seen on CapFriendly this month.

None of Fantilli McTavish Zegras Drysdale Terry Mintyukov Dostal or any firsts within the next 3 years are available for any of the core 4 from Toronto.

Any piece we are interested in we will take a shot at as UFAs. Given how badly they bent the leafs over the barrel to get contracts exiting basically as soon as they hit FA, and including NMCs during their negotiation periods, I don't have any reason to believe they will negotiate in good faith.

The Ducks trade....horrid for the Ducks. The Hellebuyck bad for the Leafs. If it means anything Samsonov had better stats that Hellebuuyck in the regular season and playoffs.
