1.
CHI
  1. Lambert, Brad
Additional Details:
Unrelated to this post, but congrats to hawks prospect Nolan Allen, Colton Dach, and Kevin Korchinski on winning the WHL championship. Since Lambert is apart of that team, and the hawks have an abundance of picks this year I was wondering if there was a trade that could bring him to the hawks.
WPG
  1. 2023 2nd round pick (NYR)
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
A pair of 2nd founders for the former 30th overall seems fair, especially considering the Vancouver pick should be higher than WPG’s own next year.
2.
CHI
  1. Bailey, Josh
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (NYI)
NYI
  1. 2023 5th round pick (CHI)
3.
CHI
  1. Murray, Matt
  2. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
  3. 2024 1st round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Murphy, Connor ($2,000,000 retained)
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (CHI)
Additional Details:
This seems like something an “Experienced” GM might do.

Hey, KD, these are interesting! I admire your ability to think big and out-of-the-box. Even if sometimes fans of other teams have a brusque reaction to your ideas, you stimulate thought and I like that.

Thanks for your on-going proposals and comments. Keep them coming!

Cheers

Lambert was also projected to go 3rd overall at one point and is obviously developing nicely.

Not sure why we would trade a big future piece for two lesser future pieces that are even further away?

I’m not certain how his development is going, and you have a fair point about the assets involved. I would be interested in Lambert due to his connections with other hawks prospects and was just throwing something out there. I’m not sure about the direction of the Jets, and would appreciate your thoughts so I can better Taylor a proposal for him.

That Leafs trade really isn't all that good for the Hawks.

Pointless deal for the Jets.

Some really nice imagination shown here. Whether one agrees with the values or not, these ideas are worth serious consideration. Nicely done!

I think they try to stay competitive but start building for the next core.

Took a look at the hawks and would require Sam Rinzel+ to consider moving Lambert. In addition to Rinzel add ask for Reichel, bolts 1st this year, Dach and then Greene, probably in that order.

The focus would be rhd with size and top 4 potential and then a C with top 6 potential.

Lambert’s upside is so immense I’d rather we keep him though.
