I don’t see why Arizona would make this move, but if they did I would be onboard with bringing another top of the draft talent to chicago for minimal risk.

Being speculated by NHL talking heads that he isn’t keen on playing for Arizona given their rink situation. This is the reason why I even postulate they move him.

I think he came out and said the arena situation influenced his decision. He would very likely sign once the franchises stability is secure. Working with that assumption there’s no reason for the coyotes to trade hum but I understand where you are coming from.
Hard to tell at this point, but Cooley probably turns out as good as, if not better than, Eiserman or Celebrini. So it’s probably a slam dunk “no” from Arizona.
Not happening. Cooley looks like he will be very very good. Maybe if he comes out and says he won't sign there they consider it, but even then it would cost more. I'm pretty certain Cooley will be a 1C some day
Of course he would. If I’m Arizona I’m not moving him for less than 2 first rounders and even that is light. Consider what it would take to acquire the 3rd overall selection in a draft out of thin air. Not to mention, he’s played as well as his draft status before and after being selected.
There is no “risk”. Cooley would cost much more than that.
On the contrary, the risk lies entirely with Arizona. Even with Cooley in school next year the hawks pick could be in the middle of the first round with supplementary moves.
