Not only is Trouba a bad idea, gifting Olofsson to Tampa would be a mistake that would come back to bite them every time they play him. The Sabres should send him out west where they will see him once or twice the in the year.

I looked at it wrong because it was Tampa’s pick coming back. In any case, I think we would both agree trading him within the division (especially Tampa) would be a bad idea, so I’m glad you didn’t do that.

Not that a 4th is some huge ask, but just doesn't seem worth it. He's a depth LHD and we have that already. Our LHD search will be for a 2nd pairing guy.
