So Detroit is trading picks 9/17 and a first round goalie SY traded up to get for pick 32, 40something, a damn near 3rd next year, and a 3rd liner being paid 2nd liner money?

How could Detroit refuse this most gracious offer?

Like the return for Detroit isn't even worth 9OA let alone a top goalie prospect and 17OA.

So Detroit gives up the most valuable player and the 2 most valuable picks, and in return get an overpaid middle 6 forward? In what world is this even approaching a fair deal?
