Lol. If Jarmo got offered that deal with Jenner in it... he'd be fired to not take it. Jenner isn't untouchable. If Columbus is getting a superstar in the deal he's available. That deal is awful for Toronto though. They'd get much more quality for Marner. Much, much, more.

The point of saying Boone is not available is to emphasize that there is no realistic trade offer that's going to be made for him that the Jackets would be interested in. As you said yourself, Toronto wouldn't make this offer so there's no point in addressing it's merit. Jarmo wasn't taking calls on Boone at the TDL and he called any trade rumors bull****. He likely either will lose his job before he gets a chance to make a trade with him involved or the team will be playing well enough that trading away the captain would be nonsense. Talking about Boone Jenner trades is a waste of time.
