Take out mateychuck and ceulamens and jackets accept. Mateychuck is one of the best defensive prospects in the entire league. He’s worth more than torontos first pick by himself

I don't think the Jackets would accept even if it was Murray and the 1st for future considerations. Murrays salary this year is $8mil and he is buyout cost is $5,333,333 in actual dollars spread over 2 years.

they have enough cap that they wouldn't have to buy him out so I could see them doing it if they get toward the end of the offseason with room to spare. There are worse things you could spend $8m on as a NHL owner than a first round pick
