Grew up a wings fan, I’m sure he’d like the idea of playing here… his wife on the other hand 🤷. I’m not sure where she sits on it, I know she had her residency in NY, is she able to move yet?

I'd do this in a heartbeat but the problem is Yzerman he likes Chariot did sign him for 4yrs and in the end he is the only one who matters.

But his wife is either done or really close to being done with her residency. With her being from Australia and most of Trouba's family is in the Metro Detroit area. She did goto U of M where she met Trouba its very likely Detroit is near the top of the list of place he would go. The only stumbling block in a Trouba trade would be he wants to stay and win a cup since the Rangers are as close to a cup as anyone.

I agree but with wallman, Edvinsson and maata set at LD and the need for a RD, they are similar players. Yzerman also said he doesn't like playing guys on his off side, which is what chariot will have to do to stay jnt he lineup. The trade actually makes sense for wings for once

As much as I really like to see Bertuzzi to return to Detroit it just isn't very likely. But there are several other teams that can easily afford him and even a couple of fringe playoff teams.

this might be a technicality but curious about the the Severson signing and not in lineup. IMHO the rangers cant go out singing FAs until they sort out the expiring contracts they have in the kids + what is to make with the likes of Sykora, Othman, Pajuniemi etc...
