It's completely unrealistic to think that Winnipeg will accept an offer that has nothing impactful coming back.

There's just not close to enough value there for Winnipeg to give any consideration to this offer.

Norlinder - unneeded LHD prospect. Zero value to Winnipeg.

Dvorak - injured, overpaid below average bottom sixer. No value to Winnipeg.

Kidney - B level prospect. Okay value.

Actually it is. Presumably the pick would move to 25, 3 drafts from now. So, it wouldn't be valued nearly as high as a 23 or 24 pick.

Protected 2024 1st is exactly what WPG will get for Dubois as a rental at the deadline, which is the price WPG'S FANS are using to justify a better return for the Habs.

WPG is also gonna have to take salaries back in ANY trade involving Dubois.
