Arvidsson and Sean Durzi for the Boston first is an advantageous trade for Toronto. You'll have enough cap space because you won't be acquiring Boone Jenner. You can keep Niemela because we have more than enough depth at RhD.

Canes pass. Between Necas and Teuvo, they outproduced Marner and are combined cheaper. Not to mention one is 1/4 of the price, multiple years younger and an RFA on expiry despite only having 20 points less
