They’ll be suitors for Myers by the deadline because of his contract. And the Canucks won’t have to move a 1st rounder in either deal and they’d gain assets. What do they gain here?

Brock Boeser is not a cap dump. 0.78 PPG player in his career. Thats over a 60 point pace. 1 year of Myers is not worth downgrading the pick. This doesn't help Vancouver. They can just wait Myers out and keep the good player and better pick
