These both seem to favor BUF. Doubt either team says yes.

A 28 goal scorer retained for a 4th liner and a 4th favor buffalo?

The 13th overall pick, last year's 16th overall pick and a cheap lhd for cap hell years is bad?

You're not looking at it from the other teams perspective. MIN isn't tearing it down.

You and me can sit here and argue whether they should tear it down or not...I personally think they SHOULD be in tear down mode, but Guerin doesn't.

If you want to do a hockey trade and provide a true #2C...they'll 100% listen. MIN has one of the top farm systems in the league.

I no longer have the energy for Victor Olofsson discussions. Trade him for McDavid for all I care. Too many insane BUF fans out there (not suggesting you're one of them) that make claims of he's a 30 goal 60 point player...easy despite never doing either of those even if you pick/choose goals assists for any of his years.

the sabres are a speed team. the penguins are a puck possession team. olofsson would be effective with crosby or malkin. i know that's easy to say, but their ability to operate in the zone and olofsson's shot would be a great compliment. he'd also be a PP asset for a team whose PP is stagnant.

I called him a 28 goal scorer. He literally scored 28 goals this year

I retained 2 million and asked for a 4th and a 4th liner

Minnesota isn't trading Jonas brodin. 0 percent chance they are trading their #1 shutdown D man, one of the best. He also has nmc. People on here needs to stop using Minnesota cap situation to try and give nothing to Minnesota. He's not waiving and Minnesota isn't rebuilding. So no from Minnesota

Give nothing? I gave the 13th overall pick and the 16th overall pick in last year's draft who is a center

Exactly! Brodin is a total stud, connor mcdavid problem solver for Minnesota. He shut down the best and is one of the best at it. Plus Minnesota isn't rebuilding like you said and Brodin has a total nmc! So it doesn't matter. Like you said @littlejerryseinfeld refuses to see things from other teams perspective and Minnesota will not trade brodin for anything other than 1c and he's never waiving, so it won't happen

I remember when Minnesota fans said this about Matt dumba for 2 years.

I do consider the other team. I put that reasoning in the trade description. You can disagree, but don't make stuff up

You gave a c prospect who will maybe be a c or winger. 13th pick and that's it for a stud Dman. Your reasoning that other uses on here also is a total false logic and false equivalent.

You bring this up and dumba doesn't have nmc , never had one or never was a shutdown Dman. Like it doesn't matter. Minnesota will not rebuild under any circumstances and brodin will never waive and if he ever did, it will be for a top C, not a 1st round pick, maybe C prospect and nothing. You don't consider, you and others on here try to use false logic, reason of Minnesota being on cap hell , you aren't the 1st on here making trade proposals using this reason

Idk what we would tear down, the guys we need and want to keep are locked up in long term deals, everyone else is either on an ELC or could come and go, no point in selling those role players and rushing the young guys into the NHL, Wallstedt will come up when Flurey leaves, when Hartman leaves we could bring in Rossi if he fully develops, we have Yurov, Lambos, Beckaman, Khusnutdinov, Faber, Peart, O’Rourke, Oghren, all guys that could easily be on the roster when cap hell is up, idk why we would sell when we can pair these guys with Kirill and Boldy, as well as Spurgeon and Brodin on the back end, No way in hell the wild would ever blow it up and no way in hell the wild would do this trade i dont think, But i could see where your coming from, the reason Guerin isnt going to blow it up is because he is looking long term while still (somehwhat) succeeding now, Would it maybe be easier to have pain for a few years and try to get success, yes maybe, but i dont see Guerin selling any of KK, Boldy, JEEK, Spuregon, or Brodin, everyone else is up for grabs and I’m willing to hear out proposals on that if I’m Guerin
