Connor alone is worth more than Jarvis and a late 1st, Detroit alone would blow away that offer to bring him home.

How is Buffalo a rebuilding team? Their rebuilding days are clearly over now. And the nonsense about Scheifele being a bad teammate is long overdue to go away. The guy is a prolific offensive player. His overall game improved this year when Bowness came onboard. Someone is going to get a legitimate centre that’s at worst an elite 2C. That’s worth a 1st and a prospect. He should get more than Horvat got. PLD is worth more on an open market but it’s not an open market when only one team has the leverage.

There’s a wings fans here calling that an underpayment. If we did make him available I’m sure almost every contender would bid for him. It would be a very competitive market.

Go for it, Jarvis still ain't on the table. Picks and prospects. But Jarvis wasn't on the table for Meier, Meier > Connor.

Hellybuk should also return a good prospect. He’s not your average goalie.

Is Cole Sillinger the prospect you want? Does he have enough upside?

PLD should get a 1st not a 2nd. Beck is a nice grab.

If you get Matt Murray a mental coach you should be fine. He plays great then loses all his composure when things go bad.

Are you kidding me, Buffalo is still picking at 13 and hasn't made the playoffs now in 12 seasons. Dude technically they're still in rebuilding mode until they can consistently show that they're a playoff team.

They are armed to the teeth with offensive weapons and it will be difficult for this team not to contend. Not every team that misses the playoffs is automatically a rebuilder lol
