I think if you replaced Roslovic + Del Belluz with a good young middle 6 winger, then the Sens would be more interested

This trade somewhat makes sense. It's just that i don;t see pierre trading a star player when they're trying to contend

Wouldn’t you rather Hill over Raanta?

Hill may want a lot more than that with his run, and Raanta has a more reliable history. He has at least shown he can do well in a system that isn't defensive like the Rangers and Arizona back in the day. Hill has only been good in a strong defensive Vegas team.

idk what young middle 6 winger that CBJ has that they'd give up.

There aren't many...Texier, Johnson, and Marchenko are all mostly off-limits. Laine and Gaudreau, no, for obvious reasons. It's basically just Chinakhov. I'd trade him, Peeke, the LAK 1st, and a 3rd for Chabot, but it also doesn't make a ton of sense. You'd be forcing him or Werenski to play 2LD, which would be a stacked left side, but also overkill/expensive.

Pinto signs for closer to 3 million per year and Ottawa's defence is a lot weaker without Chabot.

Why trading Chabot??? Is there a problem because you need to be better defensively and I don't think it is him the problem...
More the forward or simply the coach who cannot make them play good in 3 zones

This is correct about Hill. Sharks fans have been up in arms saying Grier traded away this amazing goalie. Hes purely a product of an elite defense on a hot team, he like many other goalies does not perform well behind a lacklustre defensive team.

I have absolutely no interest in transforming Chabot into quantity

Fire Dorion and Smith unto the sun instead

GM + coach : decisions and hockey systems are bad for 2-way hockey, 5v5
