Fantilli is just too tantalizing of a prospect to move for ANA. Unless they plan to go off the board at #2 (which I can't see happening), the pick stays put. If they are going off the board, They probably squeeze a little more out of MTL.

LD is the position the Ducks need the least by a mile

As mentioned above it could be Caufield with the 1st and ANA isnt doing it

There is not a single scenario where the Ducks even entertain the thought of moving 2OA

Only trade possibility I’ve thought of is swapping 2 and 3 with Columbus while gaining LA’s 23 1st and Andrew Peeke or something like that

And that is only if Verbeek and Madden decide they want Carlsson over Fantilli

Even "Off the board" would be Carlsson and they dont trade out to take him. Like McTavish they take their guy

I cant wait for the draft and these ridiculously bad offers to be done tears of joy

as much as it doesn't make sense for anaheim, it makes less sense for the habs. we don't need another centre, we have dach and suzuki, and you're trading our best d prospect if you can still call him that. i'd keep guhle and take michkov at 5 or trade down
