Hawks aren't paying for Foegele, and in fact, I highly doubt they would take him for free.

caps easily decline. that offer gets easily beaten first of all and caps aren’t moving unless it is an overpay

Why lose all those assets for Wilson and pay him more than the cost of a Yamamoto buyout then Foegele when:

And did the Hawks give up draft picks for Athanasiou? No, so your argument is meritless as such which makes your comment not smart. Again, the Hawks aren't paying edmonton to take on a cap dump

They'd be paying less salary for a better player than Athanasiou, for what they gave up to get Liam Gorman's rights.

Do you know what a top 6 forward usually cost in trade?

Last summer the Kraken gave a 3rd and 4th round pick for Bjorkstrand who's AAV is $5,400,000.
Foegele vs Bjorkstrand, and was considered to be a big win of a trade for the Kraken

LOL so much wrong there. That was last summer and you're comparing this past season's stats instead of last summer when seattle made the move in which Bjorkstrand had better stats and certainly fit a specific need for a team that was competing. Hawks aren't competing, they are rebuilding which means draft picks have more value then acquiring a 1 year rental. Your argument isn't logical at all which is why nobody is agreeing with you. Edmonton may want to move cap out, but the Hawks aren't the team that's going to help them out while paying to do it.

LMAO again last season is irrelevant comparing the two and AGAIN, Seattle was competing (Hawks aren't) and filling a specific need whereas the Hawks don't have any needs other then draft capital.

I don't want the Oilers to trade Foegele at all, so cool.

You're in the wrong place for using people agreeing with you as an argument for logic. Logically every NHL team would pay a 6th round pick for top 6 forward, but that's kind of a weird thing to bring up, hmm...

Did you make a bunch of accounts to make it seem like people are agreeing with you?

Have you thought about what Foegele could get at next seasons trade deadline. I've been assuming you're thinking of these things, but I'm figuring now you're just here to troll, and be right no matter what.

Yeah, on a tanking team versus a playoff team...again, not a smart comment from you

You compared Seattle acquiring a player who wanted to compete and did versus Chicago who is tanking...again, you miss the context

Exactly, the irony of someone accosting another user of multiple accounts meanwhile you're replying to yourself! LOL

And no, Foegele is not a top 6 winger unless he's being sheltered by LD or McDavid. Bottom line, Hawks are tanking and not giving up draft capital for players like Foegele who aren't difficult to find. Get over it

How is me accidently clicking on the wrong comment to quote ironic in comparison to someone potentially creating accounts to show support for their opinion?

Here... You are right, I must be an idiot.
Why would Chicago ever want a forward that produces at a top 6 rate 5v5 for 2.75 million at the incredible cost of a 6th round pick that has an approximate 30% chance of ever playing a NHL game. Foegele spent 38% of his TOI with McDavid and Draisaitl last season, but could never produce like that with Bedard.
Completely illogical.
