I’m a big fan of Mazur . Idk I’m getting sour on Schneider and if he will ever be a top 4 guy

Yea, I think the ceiling is Higher for Mazur and his style of play is something Det really needs. I do think Schneider will stick as a solid top 4 guy to solidify the right side for years to come under Mo though.

I'll tell you what I told a Habs fan they other day. Rangers have absolutely no one behind Schneider. They can afford to lose him. They have quite a few forwards, the fit isn't there.

Hard pass. We never said BS was a top pair d, just a future beast 2 rd. He has been nothing but solid and sticking to hockey. Hopefully the shackles are loosened this year. He's a keeper and not a trade chip option. Mazur doesn't hold the same value but is good prospect

No thanks Carter Mazur has the potential to be a 30/30 2nd line LW guy. No interest in Schneider one iota.

Would rather target a 2RD that won't drag down Wallinder.

Both are solid kids. One for one is a solid return, IF the Rangers had a ready in-house replacement.

I’d prob do it. I’m a big fan of both players game but having knowledge of the kind of player Braden is in the NHL already and the positional need we have makes it a somewhat easy decision for me.

I’m not sure I understand the talk from the NYR fans about having/needing a replacement for him in the lineup when you’ve already got $19m tied up in the two RHD spots already and probably very difficult to move half of that to even make room to afford to keep Schneider so….

Nah this would be pointless for us, Id rather keep mini trouba for when he goes bye bye. Schneider could allow miller to be a better player, I really want that pair to be tested ngl.
