41 OA + 42 OA + 117 OA doesn't move you up 23 spots So Winnipeg declines.

43 OA + 73 OA + 137 OA doesn't get you the 28 OA pick, So Toronto declines as well.

There's a chart you can use, That will tell you what picks you can make for picks.

It’s possible but, I’m not a fan of how you used the picks

That's terrible for Winnipeg, Chevy should be fired for doing something like that.

As others have mentioned you can reference free trade value charts like blue bull charts, as an example which in your example has Winnipeg trading away the 18 pick at a value of 17.2 and acquiring 41 at 4.9, 42 at 4.8 and 117 at 1.0 for a total of 10.7.

So unfortunately not even close and an instant reject. Using that chart most trades historically are pretty close to even value going both ways.

So 41 + 42 + 43 + 73 would be the value needed to move up to 18 but, while I’m not opposed to the Jets trading back, that is just way too far as I would still want to pick in the first round. So even if you offered all 3 2nds and a 3rd, the value is there but I’d still pass.

Not enough to move down from 28th to 43rd. That 5th round pick has no barring on this trade.

Good to know, I didn't realize there were charts. I was thinking that Winnipeg only has 5 picks and Toronto only has 3 so they might be looking to add picks.

It’s a good thought. We likely add some in trading PLD, Scheif, Helle and others. In a typical year we’d probably be looking to trade back to get more picks but I don’t think we’d go that far. 25-28 is probably as far as we should consider.
