The Jackets lost enough vets already last year and there wouldn't be a spot for Zadina in the top 9.

I think I'd rather keep Lauzon just because he's younger and cheaper.

I think that Debricat trade is very fair and reasonable for both parties. Ottawa fans will accept. Most Detroit fans will turn it down though and counter with 1st, Kubalik and a 3rd. They don't want to trade Berggren.

I think both teams should consider this trade though. I would turn down the Kubalik proposal if I were an Ottawa fan though, since he is a pending ufa.

We're not trading Berggren in any DeBrincat trade.

And we don't need any more LHD, So why would we be remotely interested in Jeremy Lauzon? We need a replacement for Hronek not another LHD when we already have about 11 LHD under contract.

I think it's too much for Cat.
Too much for Lauzon and we just extended Maatta so we aren't trading him.
I think the jackets need Kuraly more than Zadina and that pick.

Ottawa essentially recoups what they gave up. They can’t afford him anyway so they take a shot at accepting this deal.
Berggren isn’t proven but potential is there. Debrincat is proven 40 goal man with Horvat deal a comparable.
Seems like a win-win.

I think Miles Wood could be a little cheaper but like adding him and Hathaway

Despite what others are saying, it is definitely not an overpay for Cat, a lot of teams will be interested in him despite pending RFA status

NSH easily takes the Lauzon trade, don’t know why DET would do it bc Lauzon has been pretty awful so far in his nhl career

Trading Berggren is something I’ll hate in nearly any trade. Such a smart player and a lot of potential to be so steadily good throughout his career. In a redraft he easily goes top 20 in his draft so I don’t like the value here either
