I think Dubas vision will be a lot different than this, but who knows I could be wrong too. Just think he'll try and get younger and more speed. While also significantly re-tooling the D. I just think this team is too old/slow.

Kane is having hip resurfacing surgery. I'd stay far far away. Granlund cannot be here next season. He is washed.

Might as well keep Carter since it looks like you're trying to turn the pens into even more of a retirement home. Also cus the hawks would never trade for a 38 year old.

Hawks decline. Carter won't waive for Chicago and even if he did, he is the poster boy for what a cap dump is. Pens pay at least a 3rd to move him out.

Need to pay Jarry a lot more. Kane is having hip surgery - wouldn't go near that.

Patrick Kane just had hip resurfacing surgery, He's out until at least December probably closer to January.

And sorry adding aging players doesn't make this team a cup contender.
