Wouldn’t be opposed to this…

Milwaukee needs as much depth as they can get, so bringing in fringe-NHL/middling AHL guy would help them out

Detroit declines. We can find a backup in FA without giving up picks.

I’d give up probably a 5th/6th for half retained. Would honestly just wait for him to be bought out

Canes decline. WAYYYYYY too much for Kuzy. Drop the prospects and retain half and maybe, but Carolina could just as easily go and get Keller or someone else and probably would get better value for it

I disagree. Seeley and Montgomery aren’t high in value, and they make up for the first and second being so low. Carolina is one of the main destinations I’ve seen for Kuzy.

Keller isn’t going anywhere unless you give Arizona multiple firsts and prospects.

Seeley is one of Carolina's better defensive prospects... Montgomery, fine. But even then, you want Carolina to take on basically all 8 million of Kuzy's deal. The idea of Carolina taking Kuzy is that he comes half retained for a 1st and 2nd. This is so easily shot down.

Keller won't cost multiple 1sts. He'll cost a first and multiple other picks and prospects. Carolina's 1st, the Philly 2nd next year, and Morrow is more than enough to open that door anyway

I wouldn't mind the Devils trading a mid rd pick for Mantha at 50%, hope they'd consider this if offered.

How about the deal with Seeley out?
