NSH whole-heartedly has no interest in Garland and especially not for that. RyJo isn't an 8mil player anymore but he plays a position we need, unlike Garland.

I think Nemeth for Myers makes some financial sense for Arizona. Nemeth was surprisingly reliable last year, but his salary in actual dollars is 3.5 million. They'd be saving 2.5 million taking Myers post-buyout.

I think this deal a little light, but not unsalvageable. Also, any picks would have to be in 2024 if it was post bonus payment. If it was pre-draft (which would be pre-bonus, as well), AZ would just tell them to pound sand because Nemeth is probably a better dman for them stylistically than Myers, and cost less.
