Hi!

Hall without retention is to expensive for Colorado since he has an extra year. Colorado if they decide he’s an option shouldn’t pay more than a 3/4 round pick + a lesser prospect for Hall. Newhook is as off the table it can be in this situation.

As much as the oilers would love Ullmark they can’t afford to take the extra cap hit with trading Skinner so I can’t see that working out.

This would be a pretty solid roster for BOS to ice next year, but there are a few problems:

bad deal with WPG, PLD isnt that much better than Coyle where you give up Carlo and Lysell with him

EDM cant afford Campbell and Ullmark, and assuming they dump Campbell, they wouldnt pay a 1st + skinner for Ullmark

Avs and CBJ decline

I would prob take that PIT trade

I like that u put Merkulov 3LW, but Lohrei isnt NHL ready

Jets should accept since MTL isn't giving us that much value... but that Coyle contract could be a nonstarter for the Jets

Boston would need to add a least a first to compensate Winnipeg for taking Coyle's contract.

I've seen a ton of Hall to Colorado AGM's from the Boston side. None of them make sense. There is going to be a glut of 40 point players in FA that the Avs can get on 1-2 year deals that will not cost them assets. The Avalanche do not have a single bad contract on the team and are not going to start now by taking on Hall and his contract, much less for Newhook. Why would the Avs give up on an ascending player that scored 6 points less than a descending Hall at 3x the contract cost over the next two years? This is Boston fans dreaming of dumping that contract and hoping for something good in return.

Pittsburgh declines. No need to pay for a guy you scratched in the playoffs and another guy you have had burried in the minors. You would have to pay someone to take on those contracts and it wouldn't be cheap given their collective cap hit.
