Additional Details:

I think this is a good framework for a trade but I'm curious to see what people would add or do you think this is fair as it is. This saves money for the preds 4 million next year while the cap is rising giving them the ability to make moves. Whilst for the Canucks this solves their 3C issue for the next 2 years. If the trade was kept like this I believe this favors the canucks so me personally I would have the canucks add to this I just don't know what specifically the preds would want.

Is Johansen not viewed as a cap dump, I wouldn't mind adding to this I just would be curious to know what the price is.

He’s not a cap dump when NSH is retaining $4m for 2 years

Reality check. Johansen is a 12 goal scorer. 28 points and a -13. Canucks should pass.

Is Johansen at 8 million really that much worse than Tyler Myers at 17 points and a -16 in 78 games at 6 million? Why is NSH retaining if Vancouver isn't? This trade results in Nashville losing 2 million in cap space and taking on a less valuable player.

Thats a 40 point pace. So no 4 million for a defensively responsible center that can put upwards of 60ish in a good aeason isnt a cap dump
