the first plus a minor piece for konecny is the value you'd get league wide.

I would love an example of when an insider got a trade right besides when the deals are almost in place.

Whenever they speculate about potential trades they are never right. It's not the source I would use.
Instead find summer trades with players that have similar production/age/contract and see what was given up.

Very few trades have involved a lottery pick, a young NHLer who is a solid two-way middle sixer with potential to be a top 6 producing center. And a former lottery pick that is developing well.

40 goal rfa Debrincat got high 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Sabres 13 OA and a secondary prospect, or the Buffalo 2 is very close to that trade, proportionally.

Which ones would those be? The only recent one I've seen even mention Konecny was Lebrun, and he didn't even get a potential return, only that Briere might receive some substantial offers. He's a very good player, but if you are expecting a top 15 pick, a recent 14th overall (13th player taken) and another fairly recent 17th overall then you should probably prepare yourself for disappointment.

I don't think Buffalo is shopping that 13th overall unless its real big. I doubt they would add Krebs on top of it too.

Im not expecting that much I’m expecting 2 very good pieces not 3. It’s been reported by flyers insiders they are looking for a massive haul to move off of TK. Fans told me for months Provy wouldn’t return much, I’ll listen to my research and insiders than fans on this site that think TK is worth “one good piece”
