Description

trade 1. I saw a similar trade but instead of Evans there was Smilanic. Evans doesn't have to be part of the deal if there are cap concerns. Smilanic or another prospect can slide in.

trade 2. I'm sure I'll hear a lot about this one. If Cooley decides to sign he'll immediately be the no.1 guy, and this is in the thinking that Arizona will take Michkov if available or jump on another guy. Mesar is capable, as is Struble, and that 31st could be something.

trade 3. I'll hear about this one too, but the Lightning take on 300k for a somewhat better player who brings even more experience(even though they probably don't need more). He can eat up minutes, and in a more sheltered role he'll look better.

trade 4. Cap space trade. Kovacevic is quite good for his deal, and can take on large responsibilities.

trade 5. Meh, probably the most unlikely. Det will probably go to the fa market for Husso's backup.

trade 6. I don't even know, cap space ig?

Avs aren’t trading Newhook for a 3rd pairing defenseman and a 4th liner. Maybe for someone else, but not him.

You're correct that's not plausible, for the Avs anyway.

I would say no still but I do see a better upside to Smilanic and Wifi than EVans and Harris

That is the most likely outcome. Allen's SV% and GAA were almost identical to Nedeljkovic's. So I think Yzerman would resign Nedeljkovic before trading for Allen.
