Depends what picks they are.. If its something like Anaheim, Nashville and NYI 1st's I would. If they have to include their top pick I wouldn't do it.

The draft is so top heavy, if you're picking in the top 2 you're getting an elite player, top 7 you're getting a solid player, besides that its virtually unknown. If it includes any 2018 picks or any 2017 picks higher than 10 it is an easy no from me.

Also I wouldn't include Marshessault, as he is probably valued at around a 1st rounder right now.

Vegas would be idiots to do that.

If it was Eichel, yes. If it was Laine , yes. If its Patrick/Hischier? Not a chance in hell. They'll be good players but not generational talents.

Pretty much this. Vegas would be nuts to offer that and McPhee has been very shrewd so far so I doubt he throws that much away for a non-generational talent.

The rumor said it would be more then that, probably a roster player or two from PHI like Laughton and Manning.....if I were Hexy I'd take a good long look at that deal. The cupboard get restocked real fast that way plus you open up $5 million in cap space and a roster spot, plus you grab a forward who just put up a 30 goal season. Like I said I saw this out there and it made me think....I would probably do this deal myself. The rumored picks were listed as #15 and #24 or #27 (supposedly both are deal that are on the table for LV). So the Flyers end up with #6, #15, and either #24 or #27....which you could possibly be able to package those picks either together or with, say Filppula and move back up in the first round

If that rumor is true, the Flyers would be acquiring $5 million from the shedding of a bad defenseman's contract, a cheap 30-goal scorer and the 6th, 15th and 24th overall picks, basically all for Nolan Patrick. Patrick may turn out to be a number one center, but his potential seems to lie more at a #2 center. So, assuming the Flyers take a center with their 6th pick (Gabe Vilardi or Cody Glass), both may end up having higher offensive ceilings than Patrick, even if they take a little longer to develop. At pick 15, Flyers could acquire a defenseman with great upside and there's still plenty of talent at pick 24. I can't see the Flyers refusing such a deal.

STL has #27... what rumor have you heard that would make that pick available? 3-way trade?
