The only thing close in the CGY year is a 1st. A good comp to use would be what the Islanders paid for Horvat.

I’m absolutely fine with that statement. You are at a different stage of your development and adding a player like Hall at his salary is probably not the right move for a team with no championship aspirations in the near future.

There are two types of cap dumps. Massively overpaid players, slightly overpaid players, and solid value contracts. The third types are generally easy to get rid of..

Id accept those DET, PIT, and ANA trades they seem realistic and would help with cap relief, could see Hall getting a lower return tho
