Wings have several proming prospects and getting a player coming off a bad year, by his standards, costing in cap space and helping a division rival all poi t to no thank you

I’m absolutely fine with that statement. You are at a different stage of your development and adding a player like Hall at his salary is probably not the right move for a team with no championship aspirations in the near future.
