Description
I've had some preliminary discussions with two of your esteemed brethren and I'm exploring the possibilities of EITHER of these two trades. I've put Lindell's cap hit back into the roster just to see if the lower-cap-out trade works for the Stars. I don't think that it does, and I guess that you'd rather trade out the veteran Lindell than the developing Harley in any event. (The cap for a Lindell trade only works if you find someplace to send Faksa, which may be in your plans anyway.)

A lot of this scheme (either scenario) depends on how well Lundkvist is developing. This idea becomes a lot more appealing if he's ready for one of the two top-4 RhD slots.

Durzi is our #2 PP QB and better defensively on his right side.

As always, courteous reaction will be greatly appreciated, and non-courteous reaction will be greeted with my usual vitriolic riposte.

    I'm down to the first one. Trading Harley tho is pretty hard to sustain cap wise for us.

    Challenge is Lindell has a NMC. I don’t believe it’s in the plans to trade either of them though anyway. I do believe they plan to allow both Lundkvist and Harley to take steps next yr, so imo Miller is the D available for a trade. If there’d be interest in Miller, maybe there’s a deal where Lizotte could be involved the other way?

    LA has no interest in any RhD on any team unless his name is Cale Makar. But I believe you if you say that Lindell would be unlikely to waive his NMC and Jim Nill unlikely to trade Thomas Harley. Thanks for the response!

    It's meant to suggest one or the other, depending upon which trade is chosen, with the higher cap hit to demonstrate the most significant effect. The viewer can think Lindell is there following a Harley trade, in which case the cap space is as shown, or the viewer can imagine that Harley is there following a Lindell trade, in which case the Stars have $5.75 million more in cap space.

    This would be a good trade for both teams if Lindell waive is NMC to go to LA
    For LA, it’s a little bit expensive on the left side tho

    I believe he would have to tell him the team to see if he would be willing. Maybe the weather would convince him. That and LA has a solid defensive lineup.
